Role Overview

Join our dynamic facilities management team as a CAFM Lead, where you will play a pivotal role in driving the efficient administration, implementation, and continued enhancement of our CAFM platform. As part of our team in Head Office - Dubai, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, collaborating closely with FM, operations, IT, and various stakeholders to support seamless service delivery and system governance. Your expertise will shape the digital foundation for our facilities operations and support high-quality client interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and support the CAFM system to ensure a stable and efficient operation on a daily basis.
  • Manage user access, roles, permissions, and system governance across internal teams, clients, vendors, and external parties.
  • Act as the primary CAFM point of contact between the organization and clients, vendors, and service providers, ensuring timely support and issue resolution.
  • Respond to system queries, incidents, and service requests, providing clear communication, guidance, and ongoing updates.
  • Configure and maintain work order workflows, asset hierarchies, preventive and corrective maintenance modules, SLAs, and approval processes within the CAFM platform.
  • Develop, test, and support scripts, automations, integrations, and system enhancements to meet operational requirements.
  • Generate reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data extracts, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and usability for management and operations.
  • Maintain asset registers, inventory records, space data, and equipment information, keeping all records updated in the CAFM system.
  • Maintain CAFM documentation, user guides, workflows, system change logs, and support records within shared libraries.
  • Coordinate with FM, operations, IT, and vendors for system changes, upgrades, integrations, and issue resolution.
  • Lead, guide, and support the CAFM team by overseeing task allocation, coaching, follow-up, and performance monitoring.
  • Support client presentations, demonstrations, system walkthroughs, and product-related discussions as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement in CAFM processes, system usability, and service delivery aligned with FM and operational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain CAFM-related policies, procedures, templates, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance.

Must have requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CAFM systems administration, support, implementation, or product delivery.
  • Background as an engineer with programming experience and strong hands-on skills in CAFM platforms, databases, system configuration, and related software tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of FM and operations workflows, service processes, reporting, and client-facing support.
  • Experience in the data centre industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications such as MS Office, Visio, Outlook, and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management capabilities and a proven ability to manage and lead a team.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Nice to have requirements

  • Direct experience supporting CAFM systems for data centres or high-availability facilities.
  • Technical certifications related to CAFM, software, or system administration.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Experience designing custom dashboards or data visualizations.
  • Advanced knowledge of workflow optimization for FM operations within digital platforms.
  • Experience with scripting or automation for CAFM platforms.
