Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Consultancy

  • Work closely with clients to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and FM delivery models.
  • Translate client requirements into structured Maximo solutions aligned with best practice and FM standards.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on CAFM strategy, system design, and continuous improvement.

Maximo Implementation & Configuration

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of IBM Maximo, including application setup, workflows, security roles, and automation scripts.
  • Oversee system customization
  • Manage integrations with third-party systems, and reporting platforms.

Data Governance & Asset Management

  • Establish and enforce asset data standards, hierarchies, naming conventions, and coding structures.
  • Lead asset and location data migration, validation, and assurance activities.
  • Ensure Maximo supports full asset lifecycle management from mobilisation through operations.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Develop and manage Maximo-based reports, KPIs, and dashboards aligned to FM contracts and SLAs.
  • Support data extraction and integration with external reporting platforms such as Power BI.
  • Provide analysis and insights to support performance improvement and informed decision-making.

Training, Mobilisation & Support

  • Deliver role-based Maximo training for planners, technicians, supervisors, and management teams.
  • Develop SOPs, job plans, user guides, and process documentation.
  • Provide post-implementation support, issue resolution, and system optimisation.

System Optimisation & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct system health checks and performance assessments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve usability, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain awareness of Maximo updates and enhancements and assess their applicability to client environments.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Work collaboratively with internal consultancy teams, developers, planners, and project managers.
  • Hold accountability for Maximo governance and change control.
  • Participate in project planning, progress reporting, and client reviews.

  • Proven experience delivering IBM Maximo implementations and enhancements.
  • Strong knowledge of Maximo modules including Asset Management, Work Order Management, Preventive Maintenance, and Inventory Management.
  • Experience with Automation Scripting, Application Designer, and MIF.
  • Experience integrating Maximo with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
  • Prior experience in a consultancy or multi-stakeholder FM environment is highly desirable.
  • Maximo or related certifications are advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Master's degree or professional certifications are an advantage.
