Role Description

We are looking for a senior Cairo Hub Director / General Manager to lead and establish a multi-disciplinary engineering production hub in Cairo, with full operational and business responsibility.

Qualifications

Establish and lead the Cairo production hub from Day 1.
Recruit, onboard, and manage 40–50+ employees across multiple disciplines.
Set up office infrastructure, IT, VPN, software, HR systems, and operational processes.
Lead QA/QC implementation and ensure high-quality project deliverables.
Manage daily coordination with Riyadh and discipline heads.
Oversee resource allocation, productivity, project performance, and delivery.
Manage the Cairo office P&L, staffing costs, overheads, and software licenses.
Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor law, payroll, and HR requirements.
Deliver projects within approved budgets and timelines.
Drive cost-control initiatives and improve office profitability.
Review and approve technical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
Participate in technical and client meetings with Saudi/GCC stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
15+ years of experience in engineering or architectural design.
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing design/engineering teams or production hubs.
Proven experience managing 40+ employees across multiple disciplines.
Experience with BIM-based production workflows.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, and BIM 360.
PMP or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Experience with Saudi/GCC engineering or architectural companies is an advantage.
Strong understanding of KSA design standards and client expectations.
Must be Cairo-based and available full-time.
Fluent Arabic and professional English.
