About the Role
We are looking for a talented and passionate Cake Artist to join our team in Dubai. This role is ideal for someone who is highly creative, detail-oriented and committed to delivering exceptional quality. You will play an important role in bringing bespoke cake concepts to life while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, presentation and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Decorate and finish bespoke cakes to Atelier Choulisse's luxury standards.
- Work confidently with chocolate ganache and fondant to achieve impeccable, high-end finishes.
- Create handcrafted decorative elements, including sugar flowers, figurines, textures and bespoke design features.
- Execute both classic and contemporary cake designs with exceptional precision.
- Prepare cakes for delivery, ensuring structural stability and impeccable presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic workstation in accordance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the creative and production teams to execute bespoke client designs.
- Contribute creative ideas for new collections, techniques and product development.
- Ensure every order is completed on schedule while maintaining Atelier Choulisse's uncompromising quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cake Artist of minimum 3 years
- Experience working with chocolate ganache is essential.
- Strong knowledge of fondant application, cake finishing and luxury decorating techniques.
- Excellent artistic ability with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude, professionalism and a willingness to continuously learn and develop.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
