Job Description

The International University of Science & Technology in Kuwait (IUK) is a newly established private university in Kuwait, with a new Campus located in the heart of Kuwait near the Avenues Mall. Fully accredited by the Private Universities Council (PUC), the University offers a wide range of academic programs in Engineering, Business, and Arts and Social Sciences. In addition to the academic programs, the IUK has established the University Foundation Program (UFP) that offers English and Maths foundation programs. The IUK is looking for dynamic full-time instructors who are passionate about teaching, contributing to developing a vibrant and successful learning environment with students.

Position Summary

As a Document Controller/Call Center Operator at IUK, you will play a crucial role in managing IUK's process of receiving and forwarding documentation and packages, and providing outstanding customer service through our call center operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that documents are accurately recorded, stored, and forwarded as needed, while also handling customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities

Call Center Operations:

  • Handle incoming calls and emails with a courteous and helpful manner.
  • Provide accurate information and resolutions to inquiries, issues, or concerns.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service etiquette.
  • Document interactions accurately in the database.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department for resolution.

Data Entry And Reporting

  • Input and update information and interactions in the database.
  • Generate reports and summaries as required.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Customer Relations

  • Build and maintain positive relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Address feedback and concerns effectively.

Document Control

  • Receive documents, packages and deliveries from Gates.
  • Ensure that documents are delivered to the concerned department and/or staff and faculty member in a specified time-period.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient document management system, creating a detailed database regarding receiving and forwarding of documents and packages through the campus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree.
  • Professional Certificates are an added value

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles plus experience using computers on the job.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in relevant software and databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
