Camp Coordinator/ Accommodation incharge
Responsibilities
1. Camp Operations & Administration
- Take full responsibility for day-to-day camp operations covering accommodation, hygiene, utilities, food services, transport, and security.
- Ensure camp capacity planning aligns with manpower deployment and project requirements.
- Monitor housekeeping standards, pest control, waste management, and general camp discipline.
- Coordinate with Dubai Municipality's Health and Safety Department for labor camp inspections.
- Handle and resolve daily labor complaints, including A/C issues, emergency leave, salary matters, uniform/shoes, and medical emergencies.
2. Labor Accommodation & Welfare
- Ensure camp facilities comply with UAE Labor Law, Municipality, Civil Defense, and MOHRE standards.
- Address labor grievances related to accommodation, food quality, water, sanitation, and transport.
- Conduct regular camp inspections and close non-compliance issues immediately.
3. Camp Staff & Contractor Supervision
- Supervise camp supervisors, cleaners, cooks, security, drivers, and third-party service providers.
- Monitor vendor performance for maintenance services.
- Control camp-related expenses and report cost deviations to management.
- Coordinating with the FM team regarding FM issues for all sites and staff's accommodation.
4. Mobilization & Demobilization Support
- Coordinate with HR for labor mobilization, onboarding, room allocation, and camp induction.
- Manage demobilization and exit clearance from the camp for resigned or terminated staff.
5. Records, Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain updated records of camp occupancy, room allocation, assets, complaints, and incidents.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly camp reports to management.
- Support inspections by MOHRE, Municipality, Civil Defense, and client auditors.
6. Health, Safety & Discipline
- Enforce camp safety rules, fire safety procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Coordinate fire drills and HSE awareness sessions within the camp.
- Handle disciplinary issues in coordination with HR and site management.
7. Coordination & Communication
- Act as the single point of contact between camp residents, site teams, HR, PRO, and management.
- Ensure smooth communication of company policies, camp rules, and notices to labor.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR operations and camp management.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Proficient in MS Excel and HRMS tools.
