We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and sustainability-focused Carbon Management Manager to lead our carbon reduction initiatives, greenhouse gas emissions reporting, and decarbonization strategies. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement carbon management strategies, policies, and action plans aligned with organizational sustainability objectives.
Monitor, measure, and report greenhouse gas emissions across relevant business operations, facilities, and supply chains.
Establish and maintain greenhouse gas inventories covering Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 emissions.
Conduct carbon footprint assessments and identify opportunities to reduce emissions and improve operational efficiency.
Lead the development and implementation of decarbonization roadmaps, carbon reduction targets, and performance indicators.
Ensure carbon accounting and reporting activities align with applicable standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Analyse energy consumption, resource utilization, and operational data to identify potential carbon reduction opportunities.
Collaborate with procurement, operations, finance, facilities, and other departments to integrate carbon management into business processes.
Coordinate sustainability assessments, carbon audits, data verification exercises, and external assurance activities.
Monitor developments in climate policies, carbon regulations, emissions trading schemes, and sustainability reporting requirements.
Evaluate carbon reduction projects, renewable energy initiatives, energy efficiency measures, and other decarbonization solutions.
Prepare carbon management reports, dashboards, presentations, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
Engage with suppliers, consultants, auditors, and relevant stakeholders to improve emissions data quality and sustainability performance.
Develop employee awareness programs and promote a company-wide culture of environmental responsibility.
Track progress against carbon reduction targets and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Climate Science, Energy Management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of greenhouse gas accounting, carbon footprint assessments, and emissions reduction strategies.
Familiarity with relevant frameworks and standards, such as the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064.
Knowledge of sustainability reporting, climate-related regulations, and carbon management practices.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex environmental and operational data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and relevant carbon accounting or sustainability platforms.
Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
Ability to develop practical carbon reduction plans and translate sustainability objectives into measurable actions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data collection, reporting, and documentation.
