Job Title: Card Payments QA Tester (ATM/POS/E-commerce)

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Card Payments QA Tester with strong experience in testing Debit, Credit, and Prepaid card transactions across ATM, POS, and E-commerce channels. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in card lifecycle, transaction validation, and banking/payment systems, along with a solid understanding of ISO 8583 messaging and scheme compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and validate Debit, Credit, and Prepaid card transactions
- Perform transaction validation across:
- ATM (Cash withdrawal, balance inquiry)
- POS (Purchase, refund, reversal)
- E-commerce (3D Secure authentication)
- Work on Card Management Systems (CMS)
- Execute various testing types including:
- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- Regression Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Ensure compliance with:
- Visa and Mastercard regulations
- PCI-DSS standards
- Analyze and validate ISO 8583 message formats
- Coordinate with external vendors such as:
- Payment gateways
- Switch providers
- Card personalization vendors
- Log and track defects using tools like JIRA / HP ALM
- Support production issue analysis and resolution

Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Card Lifecycle, including:
- Card issuance
- Activation
- PIN generation
- Authorization
- Clearing & Settlement
- Hands-on experience with ISO 8583 messaging
- Knowledge of Visa & Mastercard transaction flows
- Experience with ATM/POS simulators
- Basic knowledge of SQL for backend validation
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman
