Role Overview:
Our client, a Global Cards & Payments firm, is engaged with a leading bank in Riyadh and is seeking a Cards Product Manager to support the head of cards in developing and implementing product strategies and initiatives to meet the needs of the client.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cards systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive business results through effective program management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute growth strategies to expand the credit card business. Identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships to increase market share. Implement marketing and promotional campaigns to attract new clients and increase card usage.
- Analyze the performance of the credit card portfolio, including profitability, utilization, and customer satisfaction. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the portfolio and develop strategies to address them.
- Monitor key KPIs card activation, usage/spend uplift, attrition, complaint rate, call center volumes, digital adoption. Conduct regulatory, data, and customerimpact assessments.
- Assist in customer communications and marketing campaigns.
- Liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders - Product, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and third-party vendors to deliver a robust Cards ramp up strategy.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of loyalty program to ensure its effectiveness and alignment to customer needs and business goals.
- Oversee technical readiness across issuing platforms (BIN configuration, card profiles, tokenization & digital wallets, recurring payments, authorizations/clearing, 3DS/ACS, fraud controls) and operational readiness (card production, personalization, dispatch, courier SLAs).
Experience and skills
- 5+ years of experience in cards product management, with a proven track record of driving business growth and achieving targets.
- Fluent in Arabic language
- In-depth knowledge of the cards market, industry trends, and regulatory environment.
- Experience in developing and launching new card products, including credit, debit, and prepaid cards.
- Experience in card issuing business, card management and payment processing systems.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale, complex card upgrade or migration projects.
- Experience with cardscheme requirements, data privacy, program governance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding modern payment technologies, mobile wallets, fraud & risk and API integrations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and portfolio management tools, excel, and tableau.
