Job Description

This firm is recognised for its strong regional presence, market-leading work, and collaborative culture built over decades. The corporate practice advises on a broad range of transactional and advisory mandates, including corporate structuring and incorporations, mergers and acquisitions, disposals, investments, joint ventures, and general commercial matters. The team works across a diverse range of sectors, including hospitality, healthcare, telecommunications, media and technology, industrials, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support partners and fee-earners on a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and general corporate advisory matters
  • Prepare, review, and manage a wide variety of corporate legal documents, including board and shareholder resolutions, powers of attorney, constitutional documents, and commercial agreements
  • Manage company incorporations, corporate restructurings, amendments, deregistration, and ongoing corporate maintenance across the UAE mainland, DIFC, ADGM, and free zones
  • Conduct legal, regulatory, and corporate due diligence, preparing due diligence reports and supporting transaction management
  • Supervise, mentor, and delegate work to junior paralegals, ensuring high-quality output and efficient workflow management
  • Assist with legal research on UAE corporate laws, regulations, and market developments, providing practical support to the wider corporate team
  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously, monitoring deadlines and ensuring transactions progress efficiently from inception through to completion

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year's UAE experience as a paralegal within a law firm
  • Strong understanding of UAE free zone structures, regulations, and incorporation processes
  • Experience managing, delegating to, and supporting junior paralegals
  • Prior experience working within a corporate or commercial legal team, preferably within private practice
  • Ability to support multiple partners and fee-earners across a range of matters
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Arabic language skills would be advantageous
