Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role located in Abu Dhabi. The Carpenter will be tasked with constructing, repairing, and installing structures, frameworks, and fixtures, using materials such as wood, plywood, and wallboard. Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings, measuring and cutting materials to specifications, assembling frameworks, and finishing carpentry tasks. The role will involve operating power and hand tools effectively and ensuring adherence to safety standards in all tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Carpentry techniques, including measurements, construction, and installation
- Ability to work with Power Tools and Hand Tools effectively and safely
- Skills in Framing and Finish Carpentry for structural and aesthetic projects
- Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and ability to follow technical drawings or blueprints
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site setting
- Prior experience in a similar role in construction or maintenance is preferred
- Understanding and adherence to workplace safety standards and procedures
