Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Cairo, Egypt for a Cartographer and Graphic Designer. The role involves creating and managing maps, conducting topographic surveys, and working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support BAPETCO's operations. The responsibilities also include utilizing tools like Quantum GIS for geospatial data analysis and producing professional maps and other graphic representations to fulfill various project needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cartography, Topographic Surveys, and the creation of professional maps
• Strong skills in Quantum GIS and working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Ability to analyze and interpret geospatial data effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and creative design skills
• Capable of working collaboratively on-site as part of diverse teams
• Prior experience in the oil and gas sector is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Cartography, Geospatial Science, or a relevant field
