Role Description The Case Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for coordinating the care pathway of oncology patients from admission through follow-up. Day-to-day tasks include assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and facilitating communication between patients, families, medical teams, and support services. The Case Manager ensures timely scheduling of consultations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures, and helps patients navigate administrative and logistical processes. The role also involves monitoring patient progress, identifying barriers to care, advocating for appropriate resources, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation in line with institutional protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, care planning, and coordination, preferably in oncology or complex clinical settings.
  • Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills to support patients and families and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple cases and ensure continuity of care.
  • Proficiency in documentation, data entry, and the use of clinical information systems or electronic medical records.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, social work, or a related health or human services field; relevant clinical or case management experience is highly beneficial.
  • Knowledge of healthcare processes, patient rights, and quality and safety standards; oncology experience or training is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, with the ability to explain medical information clearly and sensitively.
  • Ability to work on-site in New Cairo, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and uphold non-discriminatory, patient-centered care practices.
