Job Summary:
Job Title: Cashier Accountant

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and reconcile all cash collections received from the Sales team and couriers, and promptly report any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Prepare daily cash summary reports and submit them to the line manager.
- Prepare and process bank deposits based on daily collections and ensure timely deposit at the bank each day.
- Manage petty cash operations in accordance with established company procedures and maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment by complying with all policies and regulations.
- Conduct monthly cash van inventory and ensure accurate documentation and reconciliation.
- Create bank journal vouchers (JVs) and review the General Ledger (GL) entries before posting to ensure accuracy.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly financial transaction reports for management review and decision-making.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience as a cashier, preferably in an FMCG or logistics company.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience working in an ERP environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Full compliance with official working hours with no delays, while maintaining a high level of punctuality and discipline.
