Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cashier/Accountant to join our fast-paced semi-government service center. The role involves handling daily cash transactions, managing accounts, processing payments, and ensuring accurate financial recording for all immigration-related services. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a high-traffic environment and providing professional customer service to walk-in clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesCashier Duties
  • Handle high-volume walk-in customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Process payments for Dubai immigration services including residency, Emirates ID, and medical applications.
  • Issue receipts, verify service fees, and ensure correct payment handling.
  • Maintain an organized and secure cash drawer throughout the shift.
  • Reconcile daily cash collections and prepare end-of-day cash summaries.
Accounting Duties
  • Record transactions in the accounting system with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Assist with invoicing, expense tracking, and fee reconciliation.
  • Ensure all financial operations comply with company procedures and semi-government audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with management for financial reviews, statements, and audits.
Customer Service
  • Provide clear and professional communication to customers regarding fees and payment requirements.
  • Support clients with basic inquiries related to the payment process.
  • Maintain a polite and professional attitude at all times.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in cashiering or accounting roles (experience in government service centers preferred).
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills, especially in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in basic accounting software and MS Office (Excel required).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Strong ethics, reliability, and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Amer, Tasheel, Typing Centers, or Immigration-related offices.
  • Knowledge of UAE residency, Emirates ID, and medical application fee structures.
  • Multilingual abilities (Arabic, English, Hindi/Urdu) are an advantage.
Working Conditions

  • Standard office hours with the possibility of extended hours based on workload.
  • Semi-government regulations must be followed strictly.
