Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based in 6th of October. The Cashier will handle customer transactions, process payments accurately, and issue receipts while maintaining a friendly and professional approach. Daily responsibilities include operating the point-of-sale system, managing cash and other forms of payment, and reconciling the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts. The role also involves answering customer inquiries, resolving basic issues at checkout, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth store operations. The Cashier is expected to follow company policies, maintain a clean and organized checkout area, and support inventory and merchandising tasks as needed.
Qualifications

• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling, payment processing, and transaction reconciliation.
• Customer service abilities, including clear communication, a courteous manner, and the capacity to manage busy or stressful situations calmly.
• Basic technical skills for operating point-of-sale systems, card terminals, and related store equipment.
• Organizational skills to manage queues efficiently, maintain an orderly checkout area, and support inventory checks.
• Reliability and integrity, with a focus on punctuality, adherence to company procedures, and respect for confidentiality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced retail or service environment.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar cashier or customer-facing role is an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent education preferred; additional training in customer service or cash handling is beneficial.
