A Cashier at Lion in the Sun
As a Cashier at Lion in the Sun Dubai, you will be the central point for processing guest payments with accuracy, professionalism, and efficiency. You will ensure seamless billing operations through the use of Symphony Oracle, maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Your day to day
- Handle all payment transactions accurately using Symphony Oracle, ensuring bills are correctly generated, split, adjusted, and settled.
- Greet guests at the cashier desk with professionalism and warmth, offering assistance with any billing-related inquiries.
- Coordinate closely with the service team to ensure smooth communication and timely processing of guest checks.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, following internal controls and cash-handling procedures.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as end-of-shift reports, cash reconciliation, and audit compliance.
- Manage sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity.
- Follow all company policies related to payments, refunds, reporting, and confidentiality.
Who are you
- Previous experience as a cashier in a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel, or premium hospitality venue.
- Proficiency in Symphony Oracle or similar POS systems is essential.
- Strong numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm, courteous, and precise under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
- A reliable team player with strong organizational skills and a positive work ethic.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
