Category Lead F&B | MAF Global Solutions | Procurement
Role Summary
Leading a team to execute both tactical and strategic sourcing of products and services for all MAF operating companies across various countries within F&B Category while ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives and plans developed in Dubai.
ROLE PROFILE
- Developing and delivering the strategic roadmap and annual budget for the relevant categories in association with the Business, Procurement Director and Head of Procurement
- Creating and implementing sourcing strategies on a project level in compliance with the legal, internal policies, good practices and business goals
- Managing and leading sourcing activities for new project development and achieving agreed milestones and key development timelines
- Leveraging opportunities for consolidation, standardization and scoping to improve costs
- Analyzing supplier offers and quantifying total costs of ownership (TCO)
- Mapping, analyzing and interpreting data on current spend patterns, identifying cost drivers and opportunities
- Actively communicating with the stakeholders across OpCos and developing digital platforms to meet the KPI and SLA set
Requirements
- Min 7 10 years of experience in a similar role and min of 10 years experience in Procurement
- Experience in Procurement within Shared Services is a plus to provide oversight for all procurement RFX process for smooth delivery of shared service operations to procurement category managers
- Experience in spend analysis and strategy development
- In-depth understanding and practiced best-in-class procurement processes, systems and practices
- Must be capable of assessing legal and business risk when making decisions concerning contractual commitments
- Experience in using E-sourcing platforms and ERPs, preferably ORACLE, SAP and COUPA
