Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Objective:

Buildandmaintainstrategicpartnershipswithglobalfragrancehouses,distributors,andlocalpartnerswhilenegotiatingcommercial terms, marketing support, and exclusivity. Oversee promotional calendars, inventory planning, and in-store execution to deliver compelling fragrance storytelling and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. CategoryGrowth&Performance

    • Drivecategorysalesgrowthandprofitabilityacrossretailstoresande-commerceplatforms.
    • Definepricingarchitecturealignedwithmarketbenchmarksandbrandpositioning.
    • Monitor categoryperformance,analyzetrends,andimplementstrategiestomaximizecontribution.

  1. Assortment&BrandManagement

    • Leadbrandselectionandproductassortmentplanningtoensureacompetitiveandcompellingoffering.
    • Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithglobalfragrancehouses,distributors,andlocalpartners.
    • Negotiate commercialterms,includingrebates,exclusivity,marketingsupport,andpaymentconditions.

  1. Marketing&In-StoreExecution

    • Planandexecutepromotionalcalendars,includingin-storeactivations,samplingprograms,anddigitalcampaigns.
    • Supportvisualmerchandisingguidelinesanddeliverengagingfragrancestorytellingin-store.
    • Trainretailteamsonnewlaunches,heroproducts,andfragranceprofilingtoenhancecustomerexperience.

  1. SupplyChain&InventoryControl

    • Collaboratewithsupplychainteamstomanageleadtimes,replenishmentcycles,andstoreallocations.
    • Planforecastingandinventorycontroltoensureoptimalstocklevelsandminimizeshortages.
    • Coordinatewithlogisticsandoperationstomaintainsmoothproductflowacrosschannels.

Desired Qualification:

  • Bachelor'sdegreeinBusinessAdministration,Marketing,orarelatedfieldMBAisaplus
  • Provenexperienceincategorymanagement,merchandising,orbuyingwithinretailorbeauty/fragranceindustry
  • Stronganalyticalskillswithproficiencyindatainterpretationandforecasting
  • Excellentnegotiationandrelationship-buildingcapabilitieswithglobalandlocalpartners
  • Solidunderstandingofpricingstrategies,promotionalplanning,andmarketbenchmarking
  • Knowledgeofsupplychainprocesses,inventorycontrol,andreplenishmentcycles
  • Abilitytomanagemultipleprojectsanddeadlinesinafast-pacedenvironment
  • ProficiencyinMSOfficeandfamiliaritywithERPsystemsexperiencewithe-commerceplatformsisanadvantage
