About the role
We're hiring a Category Marketing Manager to own marketing delivery for a multi-country product line spanning several markets across the region. The mandate: grow revenue, market share and margin through sharp category leadership and close cross-team collaboration.
What you'll do
- Partner with the Marketing Director to shape category direction and decide where brand investment goes.
- Own the innovation pipeline for your assigned brands, turning consumer and market data into a clear new-product roadmap.
- Take new launches from concept to shelf, syncing with manufacturing partners, central marketing, R&D and operations to keep timelines, packaging design, and approvals on track.
- Set price points and volume goals alongside the commercial team.
- Simplify the product lineup by working with finance and operations, then align the final call with sales.
- Build and run go-to-market plans, from above-the-line campaigns to point-of-sale materials, and manage the outside agencies delivering them.
- Commission and steer consumer research, from writing the brief through picking a partner to applying what's learned.
- Dig into share, distribution, pricing and sales figures to spot problems and pitch fixes.
- Own the category budget: sign off on costs and process purchase requisitions.
- Stay closely aligned with trade marketing and the field sales organization.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field.
- 6-8 years in marketing within fast-moving consumer goods, with exposure to multi-market or international portfolios.
- Sharp project management instincts and the discipline to juggle several workstreams without dropping the ball.
- A track record of getting different departments to row in the same direction, even under time pressure.
- Sound judgment and comfort making calls with incomplete information.
- Ease operating across cultures and markets.
- Openness to travel roughly every two to three months to visit markets in the region.
