Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced CCoE Governance Specialist to support the establishment, operation, and continuous improvement of the organization's Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). The role will be responsible for governing cloud and AI initiatives through the development of governance frameworks, operating models, policies, standards, and procedures, while ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and enterprise technology strategies.

The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating governance forums, managing executive reporting, defining stakeholder responsibilities, and driving cloud and AI governance maturity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Strategy

• Develop, implement, and maintain Cloud and AI governance frameworks.
• Define governance principles, standards, policies, procedures, and controls for cloud and AI services.
• Establish and manage Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) governance operating models.
• Drive governance alignment across business units and corporate functions.
• Support strategic cloud and AI transformation initiatives.
  
  

Governance Forums & Stakeholder Management

• Organize and facilitate governance boards, steering committees, and working groups.
• Coordinate with business, technology, security, risk, legal, procurement, and finance stakeholders.
• Prepare governance materials, decision papers, and executive presentations.
• Track governance decisions, action items, risks, and escalations.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and accountability through RACI frameworks.
  
  

Policy, Process & Operating Model Development

• Develop and enhance cloud and AI policies, standards, and procedures.
• Design governance workflows and approval mechanisms.
• Define service ownership models and decision-making authorities.
• Establish processes for cloud service onboarding, lifecycle management, and compliance monitoring.
• Maintain governance documentation and frameworks.
  
  

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Develop executive dashboards and governance reporting frameworks.
• Define and track governance KPIs and performance metrics.
• Provide regular reports on cloud adoption, AI initiatives, compliance, risk, and operational performance.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  
  

Risk, Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
• Support cloud and AI risk assessments and mitigation activities.
• Monitor governance adherence and control effectiveness.
• Support internal and external audits related to cloud and AI governance.
• Drive continuous improvement of governance practices and controls.
  
  

Mandatory Requirements

• 15+ years of overall experience in Technology Governance, IT Governance, Cloud Governance, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture Governance, or Cloud Strategy.
• 5+ years of direct experience in Cloud Governance or Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) environments.
• Proven experience developing governance frameworks, operating models, policies, and standards.
• Experience managing governance boards, steering committees, and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Strong experience in executive reporting, KPI development, and governance dashboards.
• Experience defining organizational roles, responsibilities, and RACI frameworks.
• Experience working across large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of cloud governance principles across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging CIO, CTO, CDO, and senior executives.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience with AI Governance, Data Governance, or Digital Governance initiatives.
• Experience within large enterprises, government entities, banking, telecom, energy, utilities, aviation, or smart city environments.
• Consulting experience with Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, or Wipro.
• Experience establishing or operating an enterprise Cloud Center of Excellence.
