Role Description: The Center Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt. She is the senior leader and single point of accountability for the overall performance of the Center. The role is responsible for achieving the Center's enrollment, revenue, customer experience, educational quality, people, compliance and operational KPIs while ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with Innovvette's policies, curricula, safeguarding requirements and brand standards.
The Center Manager leads the Center's management and teaching teams, translates corporate plans into daily execution, monitors performance through approved systems and data, and takes timely corrective action when results fall below target. The role is also responsible for building strong relationships with current and prospective families, ensuring effective follow-up of all enquiries and leads, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and coordinating closely with Operations and relevant corporate departments.
Performance in this role will be assessed against the approved Center Manager KPI Scorecard. Detailed daily, weekly and monthly controls are governed by the Center Manager Operating Standards and Compliance Checklist, in addition to applicable company policies and procedures.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
· Strong leadership and people-management capability, with the ability to set expectations, hold teams accountable, coach performance and build an engaged, service-oriented Center culture.
· Strong commercial and customer orientation, with the ability to improve enrollment, conversion, retention, program participation, revenue performance and family satisfaction.
· Sound understanding of early childhood education, inclusive practice, safeguarding, child development and the operational requirements of a safe, high-quality learning environment.
· Strong operational and financial management skills, including planning, budgeting, cost control, workforce deployment, risk management and the consistent implementation of policies and procedures.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret performance data, prioritize effectively and take timely corrective action.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills in Arabic and English, with the integrity, resilience and professional judgment required to manage employees, families and cross-functional relationships.
Credentials and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
· Minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience, including at least three years in a managerial role with accountability for people, customers, budgets and performance targets. Experience in early childhood education, education services or another child- and family-focused service environment is strongly preferred.
· Demonstrated experience managing commercial and operational performance, including enrollment or sales, customer experience, revenue, collections, cost control and team performance.
· Working knowledge of childcare operations, safeguarding, health and safety, regulatory compliance and quality standards, with the ability to understand and oversee educational program implementation.
· Strong digital proficiency, including Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, dashboards, center-management or CRM systems and parent communication platforms.
- Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic and English. French proficiency is an advantage for positions supporting French-language programs.
