Responsibilities
- Responsible for collecting, interpreting, and maintaining regulatory certification requirements in the Middle East and Africa markets, timely obtaining local regulatory updates, establishing access rule lists and update mechanisms, and providing internal access guidelines.
- Responsible for end-to-end advancement of projects in the Middle East and Africa markets, including pre-project regulatory certification requirements input, coordinating with headquarters regulatory teams to obtain relevant certificates, coordinating with certification bodies/laboratories in the Middle East and Africa region, tracking local progress and risk control, and archiving and maintaining certificates/reports.
- Responsible for pre-access review of regulatory compliance, collaborating with R&D/Quality/Regulatory/Purchasing/Supply Chain, etc., to promote the completion of access identification and certification plans for complete vehicles and key spare parts during the development phase, avoiding impact on vehicle launch timelines, shipment, and delivery.
Qualifications
- Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's degree or above, 5+ years of overseas regulatory certification experience in automotive industry products, Middle East and Africa product certification experience preferred (with successful cases of leading at least 2 complete vehicle overseas certification projects, familiar with the entire process from R&D import to certificate acquisition).
Required Skills
- Proficient in international mainstream automotive product certification systems and processes.
Preferred Skills
- Fluent in English + Arabic (working languages), with cross-cultural work environment background.
