CFO Experience Construction industry 18-20 years
Fluent Arabic & English (written and spoken)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel for modeling and analysis)
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics)
- Familiarity with construction-specific financial systems (cost control, project accounting, contract management software)
Proficiency in financial modeling, BI tools, and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the corporate financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the companys growth objectives and risk appetite.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management across all projects and business units.
- Ensure robust cost control and project accounting systems are in place to monitor profitability, cash cycles, and project-specific risks.
- Lead all funding, banking, and investor relations activities, including negotiations for loans, guarantees, and credit facilities.
- Supervise the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, local tax laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Implement strong internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance structures.
- Partner with the CEO and Board Members, joint ventures, and investment strategies.
- Provide leadership to the finance team, including mentoring, succession planning, and capability building.
- Oversee tax planning and optimization while ensuring full compliance with regulations.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee to support high-impact decisions.
Job Qualifications:
- Education
- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting (masters degree in finance/business administration or MBA strongly preferred).
- Professional certifications preferred: CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent.
- Experience
- Minimum 1820 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 6 years in a senior financial
- Technical Knowledge
- Strong experience in managing multi-billion EGP project portfolios, with knowledge of cost control and project finance in EPC or mega projects.
- Proven experience in fundraising, capital restructuring, and negotiations with banks and investors.
- Thorough knowledge of IFRS, local tax regulations, corporate finance, and treasury management.
- Exposure to international operations and cross-border financing arrangements is an advantage.
