Job Description
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Manage accounting and finance teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support decision-making processes.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance financial performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with external auditors and financial institutions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful CFO should have:
- A strong background in accounting and finance within the energy and natural resources sector.
- MUST have EXTENSIVE Oil and Gas sector experience.
- MUST hold a financial qualification, ideally Big 4.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategy development.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with stakeholders.
