Our client, a leading healthcare facility based in Dubai, UAE is currently looking for a Chair - Oncology Department.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following and not limited to:
The Chair of Oncology Services is the clinical and academic leader of the Department of Oncology. In this capacity, the Chair provides clinical leadership, supervision, and growth development to the various entities within Oncology Services.
He will provide the department with direction, a vision, goal setting, and input to key strategic, clinical, financial, and operational issues that align with the organizational goals of and the needs of the community and patients.
He will have the opportunity to build an internationally recognized program while leading and developing clinical,
research, academic, and training strategies for the Department of Oncology.
He will work in collaboration with other divisions, departments, and organizational leaders.
Assist in the development and communication of new patient-centric clinical programs and
department strategy and goals, including ambulatory, acute, and supportive care.
- Advance development and visibility of the healthcare facility as a leader in cancer care, including clinical services, supportive services, and strategic partnerships (locally, regionally, and internationally)
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate would have the following perquisites:
MD or DO Degree in Oncology (Required)
Master's Degree or PhD Management, Business, or Healthcare Administration (Preferred)
Experience Requirements
5 plus years experience in oncology or surgical oncology clinical practice.
5 plus Experience in an oncology leadership role(s).
Will require an active license to practice medicine in the UAE.
WORK LOCATION - DUBAI, UAE.
