Channel Business Development / Partner Sales (P7) - Dubai

We are supporting a Tier-1 global cloud specialist as they expand their channel and partner sales function across the Middle East.
This is stakeholder level , This role sits at P7 level and reports directly into the regional Channel Lead.
It is a pure channel-first role focused on recruiting, scaling, and monetising partners, not direct hyperscaler sales.
What you'll be doing
- Own channel business development across the region through distributors, large VARs, SIs, and ecosystem partners
- Identify, recruit, and scale high-growth channel partners, not end customers
- Drive partner-led revenue, pipeline creation, and deal execution
- Build joint business plans and co-sell motions with priority partners
- Enable partners commercially and strategically to increase deal size and velocity
- Manage partner performance, incentives, and territory alignment
- Act as the front-line commercial owner for the channel ecosystem
This role is NOT
- Direct enterprise sales
- Hyperscaler-to-customer selling
- A marketing or enablement-only position
What we're looking for
- 5+ years experience in channel BD, partner sales, or ecosystem roles
- Proven success working through distributors and large VARs
- Strong background in B2B cloud, infrastructure, SaaS, or enterprise technology
- Experience selling via partners, not just alongside them
- Ability to operate at senior stakeholder level with partner leadership
- Commercial mindset with a strong understanding of deal mechanics and margins
- Regional experience across UAE, KSA, or wider GCC
