Objective:
Responsible for carrying out daily water testing, monitoring production and treatment processes, and ensuring alignment with quality and regulatory requirements. The role performs laboratory analysis, validates processes, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Key responsibilities:
1. Quality Monitoring & Laboratory Testing
.Conduct sampling and perform chemical analysis on raw water, treated water, finished product, and plant samples as per testing requirements.
.Execute routine lab tests, document results, and promptly report any deviations or abnormalities.
.Support daily monitoring of water treatment processes to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
2. Material, Process & Hygiene Compliance
.Inspect and verify the quality of incoming packaging materials and raw materials during receipt and processing.
.Monitor personal hygiene and food safety requirements across production areas and report non-conformities when observed.
.Carry out inspections and checks in line with SOPs, including monitoring hygienic practices, housekeeping standards, and critical control points (CCPs).
3. Quality Control, Assurance & Documentation
.Perform Quality Control activities related to prerequisite programs under the Food Safety Management System.
.Maintain accurate lab records, test reports, and documentation required for audits and process validation.
.Identify and report discrepancies, deviations, or potential risks to support corrective and preventive actions.
4. Safety, Coordination & Continuous Improvement
.Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety guidelines and report any violations or hazards immediately.
.Work closely with technical and production teams to support improvements in water treatment and production processes.
.Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections by providing necessary data, samples, and documentation.
Desired Experience:
. Bachelor's degree in Science, preferably in Chemistry or related fields.
. Minimum 1 year experience required
. Experience in water testing or packaged drinking water environments is preferred.
. Strong analytical and documentation skills with good understanding of water treatment processes.
. Knowledge of quality systems, Food Safety Standards, and basic laboratory procedures.
. Good coordination skills with the ability to support cross-functional teams.
. Attention to detail, disciplined work approach, and adherence to safety and quality norms.
