Job description:
The Chief Accountant is responsible for managing the company's financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role involves overseeing the accounting team.
- Overseas the preparation of financial statements (P&L, BS and Statement of Cash Flows).
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Responsible for internal and external audits.
- Lead and train the accounting team.
- Manage tax reporting and compliance (VAT, WHT and CIT).
- Implement efficient accounting processes.
- Responsible for treasury operations and cash management (cash forecast, form 4 and cash collateral).
- Responsible for Balance Sheet reconciliation including inventory, intercompany, fixed assets..etc).
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- 10-12 years of relevant experience within reputable organizations.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Strong local tax knowledge.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or IFRS are highly desirable.
- Advanced skills in MS excel
- Experience in managing audits.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
