Chief Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead daily accounting operations, ensure meticulous accuracy across financial records, and support month-end closing processes. In this role, you will supervise a dedicated accounting team and collaborate directly with our finance divisions in Saudi Arabia and Oman.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Supervision: Oversee and review the daily work of the assigned accounting team; support ongoing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Financial Accuracy: Review bank/account reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR, and general ledger activities to maintain complete and compliant financial records.
• Closing & Reporting: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes; prepare clear financial and accounting reports for group management.
• Cross-Border Collaboration: Coordinate regularly with finance teams across our operations in Saudi Arabia and Oman to streamline regional standards.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to internal accounting policies, identify process gaps, and implement effective operational solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of relevant accounting experience, with preference given to candidates with prior supervisory or Chief Accountant background.
• Industry & Regional Knowledge: Experience with GCC companies, multi-branch, or cross-border operations is a strong advantage.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, month-end closing, and ERP/accounting systems.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, paired with solid English communication and written reporting skills.
