A leading healthcare services and medical management organization is seeking an exceptional executive leader to spearhead continuous commercial expansion and strategic growth at our corporate headquarters in Dokki, Giza.
About the Role
We are searching for a high-caliber Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) with a strong medical background and a sharp commercial acumen. The CCO will drive growth strategies, oversee client relationships and strategic partnerships, and focus primarily on optimizing Medical Approvals & Claims operations.
Primary Objective
To lead all commercial and strategic initiatives, expand the contractual portfolio across insurance providers and healthcare sectors, and ensure maximum efficiency and speed in managing medical approvals and financial claims—maximizing profitability while fostering long-term strategic alliances.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
• Commercial Strategy & Business Development:
• Formulate and execute the overarching commercial strategy to meet financial and revenue targets.
• Establish new strategic partnerships with major health insurance companies, hospitals, and specialized medical centers.
• Lead complex contract negotiations for new partnerships and renewals under optimal commercial terms.
• Medical Approvals Management:
• Oversee the formulation and implementation of approval policies to ensure rapid turnaround times and precision.
• Resolve critical, complex, or escalated medical cases through technical peer-to-peer negotiations with insurance medical directors.
• Drastically reduce Turnaround Time (TAT) for approval requests to enhance client and partner satisfaction.
• Claims Management & Cost Control:
• Supervise and analyze medical claims streams to minimize claim Rejection Rates.
• Monitor and conduct Utilization Reviews to manage healthcare costs effectively without compromising service quality.
• Mediate and settle complex financial or technical disputes regarding pending claims with insurers and medical providers.
• Operational Leadership & Governance:
• Direct and mentor commercial and medical operations teams to achieve exceptional performance metrics (KPIs).
• Build a robust executive reporting dashboard tracking revenue flow, approval rates, and claims processing efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Medicine & Surgery (M.B.B.Ch.) — Mandatory Requirement.
• Professional Experience:
• A minimum of 8–10 years in health insurance or medical services management, including 3–5 years in a senior commercial or managerial leadership role.
• Deep, proven expertise in healthcare operational models (TPA / Health Insurance Companies / Healthcare Providers).
• Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in medical claims management, approvals procedures, and medical pricing structures.
• Core Competencies:
• Exceptional executive negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities in financial performance, medical utilization, and Process Optimization.
• Extensive professional network across the medical insurance and healthcare ecosystem.
• Professional fluency in English (both written and spoken, including executive and medical terminology).
