Position Summary
We are seeking a visionary and commercially driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the growth and transformation of a Midstream or Downstream Oil & Gas business. The ideal candidate is a proven builder, investor, and business leader with a successful track record of developing, acquiring, financing, and scaling energy businesses while delivering sustainable shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute corporate strategy and business growth.
- Lead investment strategy, M&A, Joint Ventures, and capital raising.
- Drive business development, commercial expansion, and operational excellence.
- Deliver multiple multi-billion-dollar (USD) projects and investment portfolios.
- Manage full P&L responsibility, driving revenue, EBITDA, and profitability.
- Build strategic relationships with investors, NOCs, IOCs, EPC contractors, financial institutions, and government stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
Downstream CEO
- Executive leadership in Refining, Petrochemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Fuel Marketing & Distribution, Integrated Downstream Operations, or Energy Trading.
- Proven experience building and expanding downstream businesses with responsibility for P&L, M&A, investments, and multi-billion-dollar projects.
Midstream CEO
- Executive leadership in LNG, Gas Processing, Pipelines, Transportation, Storage Terminals, Tank Farms, Marine Terminals, Logistics, and Energy Infrastructure.
- Proven experience developing and operating large-scale midstream assets with responsibility for P&L, M&A, infrastructure investments, and multi-billion-dollar projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; MBA preferred.
- 20+ years in the Oil & Gas sector, including 10+ years in a CEO, President, Managing Director, or Executive Director role.
- Proven builder/investor with experience establishing, acquiring, and scaling Midstream or Downstream businesses.
- Demonstrated leadership of multiple multi-billion-dollar (USD) projects and investment portfolios.
- Full P&L ownership and strong track record in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Joint Ventures (JV), project finance, capital raising, and corporate strategy.
- Strong network with NOCs, IOCs, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Private Equity, EPC Contractors, Financial Institutions, and Government Authorities.
