The company is seeking a visionary, hands-on leader to spearhead the Dubai business, drive commercial success, and build a world-class team.
This is not a traditional, hands-off management role. As the CEO of the Dubai office, you will be the strategic architect and operational driving force of regional business. You must possess a rare blend of deep product knowledge in trading/fintech, sharp commercial instincts, and an unyielding commitment to regulatory excellence.
You will have full P&L responsibility for the Dubai entity, leading the charge to scale operations, navigate the local regulatory landscape, and cultivate a high-performance culture from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Business Scaling: Define and execute the commercial growth strategy for the platform in Dubai and the wider MEA region to capture market share.
- P&L Management: Own the regional budget, financial performance, and strategic resource allocation to ensure sustainable profitability.
- Market Intelligence: Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and new commercial opportunities within the trading and fintech ecosystems.
2. Product & Market Alignment
- Product Advocacy: Act as the local champion for its trading and fintech product suite, ensuring offerings are perfectly aligned with regional client demands.
- Technical Literacy: Bridge the gap between complex financial product mechanics, technology infrastructure, and client-facing business development.
3. Regulatory, Risk & Compliance
- Governance: Act as the primary point of contact and build strong, transparent relationships with regional regulatory bodies (e.g., DFSA, VARA, or FSRA where applicable).
- Compliance Frameworks: Ensure the Dubai business adheres strictly to all local and international financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and risk management protocols.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage legal, operational, and reputational risks associated with localized trading operations.
4. Team Building & Leadership
- Talent Acquisition: Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier talent across sales, operations, compliance, and product functions to build a high-performing local team.
- Culture Carrier: Foster an entrepreneurial, collaborative, and compliant culture that aligns with its global values.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience & Education
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly regarded.
- Industry Expertise: Proven track record of leadership experience within a regulated Trading Platform, Brokerage, Fintech, or Digital Asset ecosystem.
- Regional Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Middle East financial services landscape and established professional networks in Dubai.
