We are partnering with a leading regional nonprofit and social impact organization focused on advancing transparency, accountability, corporate governance, and responsible business practices across the Gulf region. The organization works with businesses, institutions, and key stakeholders to promote stronger standards of integrity and sustainable business practices.
As the organization enters a new phase of growth and regional expansion, it is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer / Executive Director to lead its next stage of development and impact.
About the Role
The CEO/Executive Director will provide strategic and organizational leadership, driving the organization's growth, regional presence, partnerships, and long-term sustainability. The role will work closely with the Board of Directors, corporate partners, funders, and key stakeholders to strengthen the organization's regional impact and influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the organization's strategic direction and annual priorities
- Drive regional growth and expand the organization's presence and impact across Saudi Arabia and the GCC
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, donors, funders, and strategic stakeholders
- Lead fundraising and resource mobilization efforts to support long-term financial sustainability
- Work closely with the Board of Directors on governance, strategy, and organizational development
- Oversee organizational operations, financial performance, and effective resource allocation
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing and mission-driven team
- Represent the organization at regional and international forums, conferences, media engagements, and partner events
- Strengthen the organization's visibility, influence, and thought leadership across the region
Requirements
- Proven experience in a CEO, Executive Director, or senior executive leadership role
- Strong track record in fundraising, resource mobilization, and strategic partnership development
- Experience working closely with Boards of Directors and governance structures
- Strong understanding of the GCC business and institutional landscape, with experience in Saudi Arabia preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute organizational strategy and drive sustainable growth
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience in nonprofit, social impact, corporate governance, corporate partnerships, consulting, or other mission-driven environments
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or MBA preferred
- Fluency in English required; Arabic is preferred
