Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the company's financial operations and support long-term business growth. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the construction or contracting industry, including project-based financial management and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and long-term budgeting.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, and tax compliance.
  • Monitor company financial performance and profitability.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial resources.
  • Manage project costing, budgeting, and financial tracking for construction projects.
  • Support tender pricing, project feasibility analysis, and financial risk assessment.
  • Monitor project budgets, cost variances, and margins.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and accounting standards.
  • Establish internal financial controls and risk management processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
  • Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and financial partners.
  • Arrange project financing, bank guarantees, and bonding facilities when required.
  • Oversee company financing strategies and capital structure.
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
  • Implement financial systems and improve reporting processes.
  • Ensure strong financial governance across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Experience in construction, contracting, or project-based industries is highly preferred.
