Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the company's financial strategy, governance, and performance management to support sustainable growth and shareholder value. The role is responsible for overseeing all financial functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving financial planning, and acting as a strategic business partner to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, financial controls, and corporate governance standards.
  • Lead financial planning, cash flow management, and capital allocation for large-scale real estate projects.
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee funding strategies, debt structuring, and investment appraisals.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO, Board, and executive management.
  • Monitor financial performance, risks, and KPIs, ensuring timely reporting and corrective actions.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team to build a high-performing financial organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Minimum of 15–20 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
  • Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent senior role.
  • Strong background in real estate development, construction, or large-scale project-based industries.
  • Experience working within listed companies or organizations with complex governance structures is highly desirable.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with strong business acumen.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Financial strategy and long-term planning.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Treasury, cash flow, and capital management.
  • Risk management and internal controls.
  • Mergers, acquisitions, and investment analysis.
  • IFRS and regulatory compliance.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis software.
  • Ability to influence executive-level decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and complex financial structures.
