About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as the strategic leader responsible for safeguarding and advancing the company's financial health. This role oversees all financial operations, drives long-term financial planning, ensures regulatory compliance, and partners closely with senior leadership to shape the company's growth trajectory.

This position offers a significant opportunity to influence organizational strategy in a business expanding across competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all core finance functions, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, taxation, and compliance.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
  • Deliver accurate, timely financial reports, forecasts, and performance insights to the board and executive leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, regulatory frameworks, and risk-management policies.
  • Provide data-driven strategic recommendations to support major business decisions and investments.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, driving cost optimization, operational efficiency, and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulators, financial institutions, and investors.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while promoting a culture of accountability, ownership, and high performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA, CPA, or ACCA strongly preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in financial services, fintech, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial strategy, reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance within EMEA/Gulf markets.
  • Proven ability to scale finance functions and support growth in fast-paced, high-performance environments.
  • Strong leadership, business acumen, and ability to influence at the executive and board level.
  • Experience managing distributed or remote teams and working with multicultural, cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required.
