About the role
- As Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the Yas Holding Aviation financial strategy, governance, and performance management across Yas Holding Aviation and its portfolio companies both Global Air Navigation Services and eshara.
- You will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, with full accountability for financial integrity, capital allocation, risk management, and value creation in a complex, multi-entity environment.
What you'll do
- Own and execute the group-wide financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, growth plans, and shareholder priorities.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across all entities.
- Oversee financial governance, controls, compliance, and risk management in line with regulatory and audit requirements.
- Manage treasury, cash flow, capital structure, and funding strategies.
- Lead financial oversight for new ventures, investments, and potential M&A or integration activities.
- Act as the primary financial interface with the Board, Audit Committee, shareholders, and external auditors.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance leadership team, embedding strong commercial acumen and financial discipline.
What we're looking for
- 15+ years of experience in finance, including senior executive / C-suite leadership roles within large, complex organizations.
- Proven experience in regulated or asset-intensive sectors such as aviation, aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or infrastructure.
- Strong track record in financial governance, strategic planning, and enterprise-level decision support.
- Demonstrated experience working with Boards, Audit Committees, and executive leadership teams.
- Experience within group or holding-company structures preferred.
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) required; MBA preferred.
