Job Title: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join a leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi. This senior leadership role will drive HR strategy, organizational transformation, and a high-performance culture while partnering closely with the CEO and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with business goals. Advise the CEO and senior leadership on people-related matters. Modernize HR processes, systems, and policies.
  • Talent & Workforce Planning: Lead manpower planning, succession planning, and organizational design. Strengthen employer branding and recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Culture & Employee Experience: Foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture. Lead initiatives for engagement, retention, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Compensation & Rewards: Design competitive compensation frameworks and incentive programs. Manage performance and reward cycles in line with market benchmarks.
  • Learning & Development: Implement leadership programs, learning frameworks, and career progression models. Promote continuous learning across the organization.
  • HR Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements. Oversee audits, policies, and HR operations.
  • Change Management: Lead transformation initiatives, system implementations, and organizational development projects.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 1215+ years in HR, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience in financial services or a regulated industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compensation, and HR governance
  • Proven ability to lead organizational transformation and build culture
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
