About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead Snapmint's information security, cyber risk, and technology resilience initiatives. You will define the security strategy, strengthen our security posture, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with engineering and business teams to build secure products at scale.

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute Snapmint's cybersecurity strategy and roadmap
• Lead security governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance, including RBI, NPCI guidelines and industry standards
• Drive cloud, infrastructure, application, and data security across the organization
• Oversee Security Operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and business continuity
• Embed security into the SDLC and engineering processes through DevSecOps and secure-by-design practices
• Manage third-party security risk, audits, and customer security assessments
• Build and mentor a high-performing security team while fostering a strong security culture

What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of cloud security, application security, IAM, SIEM/SOC, and cyber risk management
• Hands-on experience with RBI regulations, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and security audits
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent certifications are preferred
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with leadership and engineering teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in Information Security/Cybersecurity, with at least 7 years in a leadership role
• Experience in an NBFC, fintech, banking, payments, or other regulated financial services organization
