Our well-established and rapidly growing holding company based in Dammam is currently seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead our investment initiatives and drive the company's financial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive investment strategies aligned with the company's goals and risk profile
- Oversee the management of the company's investment portfolio, including asset allocation, risk management, and performance monitoring
- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships
- Collaborate with the executive team to make informed decisions on investment activities and ensure alignment with overall business objectives
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and industry partners
- Provide expert guidance and support to the company's subsidiaries and portfolio companies on investment-related matters
- Lead and mentor a high-performing investment team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Report regularly to the CEO and Board of Directors on investment performance, strategies, and key initiatives
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; CFA or equivalent certification highly preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in investment management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing investment strategies that drive significant financial growth
- Deep understanding of various asset classes, investment vehicles, and risk management techniques
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound investment decisions in complex and dynamic environments
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience building and mentoring high-performing investment teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to diverse audiences
- Proficient in using financial modeling and analysis tools, such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar platforms
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is strongly preferred
