Our client is a Saudi-based investment platform with exposure across private equity, real estate, and operating assets. The organisation is strengthening its investment governance and capital deployment strategy to support long-term value creation.
The Role
The Chief Investment Officer will define and lead the overall investment strategy across asset classes and sectors. This role will oversee deal origination, due diligence, investment execution, and portfolio management. A key responsibility will be ensuring disciplined capital allocation aligned with shareholder objectives and risk appetite. The CIO will chair investment committees and guide senior investment professionals. The role will also oversee portfolio performance, value creation initiatives, and exit strategies. Close collaboration with the board and external advisors will be central to success.
Candidate Profile
Candidates must have extensive senior experience in investment management, private equity, or family office environments. Strong exposure to direct investments and portfolio oversight is essential. Experience operating in Saudi Arabia or GCC markets is highly preferred. The ideal profile demonstrates strong financial acumen, judgment, and governance maturity. Board-level communication skills and credibility with investors are mandatory. A proven track record of successful investments and exits is required.
