Chief Marketing Officer / Global Head of Marketing
Location: UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi)
A leading global digital assets and trading platform is seeking an experienced, commercially minded Global Head of Marketing to lead and scale its marketing function through the next phase of growth.
This role will own the end-to-end global marketing strategy across brand, growth, communications, community, events, and regional execution, ensuring marketing is a key driver of user acquisition, engagement, retention, and long-term market leadership. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will translate business priorities into impactful campaigns, differentiated brand positioning, and measurable commercial outcomes across both retail and institutional audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Global Marketing Strategy & Growth
- Define and execute the global marketing strategy in line with business expansion plans and commercial objectives
- Drive user acquisition, engagement, retention, and platform growth through integrated marketing initiatives
- Build clear performance frameworks linking marketing activity to customer growth, trading activity, and revenue impact
- Identify market opportunities and develop scalable go-to-market strategies across regions and customer segments
- Support global expansion initiatives, including new market entry and international brand build-out
Brand, Social Media & Market Positioning
- Own and evolve global brand positioning, ensuring clarity, credibility, and differentiation across markets
- Lead global brand campaigns, major product launches, sponsorships, and partnership initiatives
- Oversee social media strategy and execution, with a strong focus on audience growth, engagement, and brand relevance
- Maintain strong brand governance across messaging, tone of voice, and visual consistency
Performance & Data-Driven Marketing
- Oversee performance marketing and digital acquisition strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels
- Optimise marketing effectiveness through data-driven experimentation, attribution analysis, funnel optimisation, and ROI tracking
- Use analytics and customer insights to refine campaigns, improve targeting, and strengthen commercial outcomes
- Drive scalable growth through online marketing, partnerships, affiliates, and ecosystem collaborations
Communications, Events & Reputation Management
- Lead global PR and communications strategy, including media engagement, executive visibility, and reputation management
- Support strategic messaging around key industry developments and market cycles
- Own and enhance the global events strategy across industry conferences, client events, sponsorship activations, and community initiatives
- Ensure consistent external communications aligned with company values and regulatory expectations
Regional Marketing & Go-to-Market Execution
- Partner with regional teams to localise global strategy across priority markets
- Support successful market entry and expansion initiatives internationally
- Align marketing execution with regional commercial and regulatory requirements
- Bring a strong understanding of international and multi-region marketing dynamics
Team Leadership & Organisational Development
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global marketing organisation
- Establish scalable operating models, processes, and performance standards
- Foster a culture of creativity, speed, accountability, and data-driven decision-making
Profile Sought
- 12+ years of senior marketing leadership experience within crypto, fintech, digital technology, internet platform, or other high-growth environments
- Strong international or multi-region experience, with the ability to lead global campaigns across diverse markets
- Proven track record across brand, growth, communications, social media, and events
- Strong commercial mindset with clear evidence of driving measurable business growth through marketing initiatives
- Data-driven approach to decision-making, with strong understanding of performance metrics, attribution, and marketing ROI
- Experience supporting global expansion, including new market launches and regional scaling
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
- Prior exposure to cryptocurrency, digital assets, fintech, trading platforms, or fast-scaling tech businesses is strongly preferred
