Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Reports To: Chairman

Position Summary

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for leading the Group's marketing, digital transformation, customer engagement, and brand strategy across all business units. Reporting directly to the Chairman/CEO, the CMO will drive sustainable business growth through digital innovation, AI-powered marketing, customer intelligence, and integrated commercial strategies.

The role is accountable for strengthening the Group's market presence, accelerating lead generation and revenue growth, transforming customer experiences, and building a data-driven marketing ecosystem that leverages Artificial Intelligence, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Commercial Growth

  • Develop and execute the Group's integrated marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth through qualified lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Establish Group-wide marketing governance, brand standards, and commercial alignment.
  • Partner with business leaders to accelerate sales growth and market expansion.
  • Develop market intelligence and competitive positioning strategies.

Digital Transformation & AI

  • Lead the Group's digital marketing transformation across all business units.
  • Develop AI-enabled marketing capabilities including predictive analytics, personalization, customer segmentation, and marketing automation.
  • Drive adoption of Generative AI and intelligent content solutions to improve campaign effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Implement AI-powered CRM, customer engagement platforms, and customer journey optimization.
  • Identify and deploy emerging technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness and customer experience.

Customer Experience & CRM

  • Develop an integrated customer lifecycle management strategy.
  • Enhance customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and loyalty.
  • Lead CRM transformation and marketing automation initiatives.
  • Improve customer experience across all digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Optimize conversion funnels using customer data and behavioral analytics.

Brand, Communications & Corporate Reputation

  • Lead the Group's brand architecture and positioning strategy.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all subsidiaries.
  • Direct corporate communications, media relations, and public relations.
  • Strengthen employer branding and corporate reputation.
  • Oversee content strategy and thought leadership initiatives.

Digital Marketing & Performance

  • Lead performance marketing across paid media, SEO, SEM, social media, websites, mobile applications, and digital channels.
  • Manage omnichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Improve customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on advertising spend (ROAS), and marketing ROI.
  • Drive website and application optimization through analytics and experimentation.
  • Build scalable digital ecosystems supporting business growth.

Data, Analytics & Innovation

  • Establish marketing analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Develop executive dashboards for marketing performance.
  • Utilize AI and predictive analytics to improve decision-making.
  • Lead innovation initiatives that improve customer engagement and commercial outcomes.
  • Promote experimentation and continuous optimization across all marketing functions.

Leadership & Governance

  • Build and lead a high-performing Group Marketing organization.
  • Develop marketing capabilities, succession plans, and leadership pipelines.
  • Establish policies, processes, governance, and performance standards.
  • Manage external agencies, technology partners, and strategic alliances.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
  • Professional Certifications (Preferred): Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), Google Marketing Platform Certifications, HubSpot Certifications, Meta Blueprint, AI in Marketing / Marketing Automation Certifications, CRM Certifications (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, etc.)

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
  • At least 7 years in an executive marketing leadership role.
  • Experience within diversified business groups, conglomerates, or multinational organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading digital transformation, AI-enabled marketing, customer experience, CRM, branding, and commercial growth initiatives.
  • Proven ability to scale marketing functions across multiple industries and business units.

Authority

The Chief Marketing Officer is authorized to establish the Group's marketing strategy, digital transformation roadmap, AI marketing initiatives, brand governance, customer experience strategy, CRM frameworks, marketing technology ecosystem, and corporate communications.

The CMO serves as the principal advisor to Executive Management on market positioning, digital innovation, customer growth, and commercial marketing strategy, while leading the Group's transformation toward a digitally enabled, AI-driven marketing organization.
