Job Description

Chief of Staff Family Office (UHNWI)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Reporting To: Principal (UHNWI Businessman)

Employment Type: Full-time, confidential appointment

Role Overview

The Chief of Staff will act as a trusted strategic partner to the Principal, overseeing the effective management of the family office and ensuring seamless coordination across personal, asset-related, and business priorities. This role requires exceptional organizational judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage complex, high-value projects involving luxury residences, yachts, private aviation, and multi-jurisdictional stakeholders.

The successful candidate will bring deep experience in family office operations, asset management, and end-to-end project execution, acting as the central point of control and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Executive Support

  • Serve as the Principal's right hand, translating priorities into actionable plans and ensuring timely execution.
  • Act as a gatekeeper and coordinator between the Principal and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Prepare briefings, reports, and decision-support materials with absolute confidentiality.

Family Office & Asset Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the family office, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and best-in-class service.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of luxury assets including:
  • Multiple residential properties (local and international)
  • Yachts (operations, crew, maintenance, refits, compliance)
  • Private jets (flight operations, crew, hangarage, maintenance, regulatory compliance)
  • Liaise with property managers, yacht management companies, aviation operators, legal advisors, banks, and service providers.

Project Management (Core Focus)

  • Lead and deliver complex projects such as:
  • Property acquisitions, renovations, and fit-outs
  • Yacht purchases, refits, or new builds
  • Aircraft acquisition, onboarding, or transitions
  • Define scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and governance structures.
  • Track milestones, manage dependencies, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.
  • Proactively identify issues and drive resolution with minimal escalation.

Financial Oversight & Governance

  • Work closely with finance teams to monitor budgets, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Review vendor contracts, service agreements, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure robust controls, approvals, and reporting standards across the family office.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Supervise and coordinate household staff, office personnel, and third-party providers.
  • Set clear expectations, standards, and accountability.
  • Build strong, discreet relationships with advisors, government entities, and premium service partners.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, Family Office, Private Office, or Senior Operations role supporting a UHNWI or UHNW family.
  • Proven experience managing high-value assets, including luxury residences, yachts, and/or private aviation.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stream projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality, discretion, and working with high-profile individuals.
  • Experience operating in the Middle East (preferably UAE) is highly desirable.
