Chief of Staff to CEO — Gloria Jeans
Gloria Jeans is looking for a highly capable and experienced Chief of Staff to the CEO to act as a trusted strategic and operational partner to the CEO and support the execution of the Company's key priorities across its international organization.
This is a senior, high-profile role requiring strong business judgment, executive presence, discretion, and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple functions, countries, and senior stakeholders.
Key Requirements
- 7–10+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably within fashion, retail, consumer goods, consulting, investment, or another large international organization.
- Previous experience as a Chief of Staff, Executive Business Partner, Strategy Manager, Senior Executive Assistant to CEO/Chairman, or senior Project/Transformation Manager.
- Strong commercial understanding and ability to work across Product, Buying, Design, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Finance, HR, IT and E-commerce.
- Experience working directly with CEO/C-level executives and coordinating priorities across senior management.
- Ability to translate CEO priorities and decisions into clear actions, owners, deadlines and measurable outcomes.
- Strong capability to manage cross-functional strategic projects and follow up with executives to ensure timely execution.
- Ability to prepare concise CEO briefs, executive summaries, presentations, management reports, Board materials and decision papers.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly understand financial, commercial and operational information, KPIs and business performance.
- Ability to filter and prioritize information reaching the CEO, identifying what requires immediate attention, escalation, delegation or independent resolution.
- Excellent stakeholder-management skills and confidence working with Board members, senior executives, international partners, consultants, candidates and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Russian is a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High level of emotional intelligence, diplomacy, maturity and executive presence.
- Exceptional discretion and ability to handle confidential business, financial, organizational and personnel matters.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international and rapidly changing environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
The role is not a traditional administrative assistant position. The Chief of Staff should operate as the CEO's trusted right hand, helping protect the CEO's time, improve the quality and speed of decision-making, coordinate execution across the business, and ensure that key strategic priorities are delivered.
