EgyCham is hiring Chief Operation Officer for one of our clients in Food & Beverage Manufacturing.

Role Description

  • Lead end-to-end operations across production, supply chain, logistics, quality, and distribution to ensure seamless execution and scalability
  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business growth, profitability targets, and market expansion plans
  • Drive operational excellence through process optimization, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)
  • Oversee manufacturing performance to ensure maximum efficiency, capacity utilization, and minimal waste across all production lines
  • Establish and monitor KPIs across all operational functions, ensuring data-driven decision-making and performance accountability
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (HACCP, ISO, GMP) across all facilities
  • Lead supply chain optimization, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and distribution to support business demand

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA is a strong plus).
  • From 20 to 25 years of experience in operations, with at least 5 to 7 years in a senior leadership role within food and beverage is a must
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale manufacturing and multi-site operations
  • Strong expertise in production, supply chain, logistics, and quality management within FMCG or food manufacturing
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and regulatory standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP)
  • Demonstrated experience in driving operational efficiency, cost optimization, and process improvement
  • Experience in leading large cross-functional teams and managing complex organizational structures
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, P&L, and cost structures
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
