JOB PURPOSE
Support the Enterprise Command and Control Department in overseeing and tasking teams for all activities
within the Main Control Room (MCR) for the day-to-day operations on shift, as led by the Operations Manager.
Supervisors should always be aware of all activities always occurring at the ECCD. To act as the on shift
responsible operations lead for ECCD on behalf of the ECCD Operations Manager
Key Results Accountabilities
# Observe System status, identify daily requirements and report technical issues to the concerned team when
necessary.
# Prepare supporting workflow for event monitoring (Annual Planning - Coordination, Communication protocols,
Escalation protocols, Reporting and data analysis protocols, development plans, Monitoring Performance,
Periodic Reporting and periodic Review)
# Perform other related duties and responsibilities associated with the position, or any additional responsibilities
as advised by the direct Line Manager, or the Department Director
# Supervise the implementation of specialized training plans and projects for the operations team, through the
deployment of specialized workshops in the field of work, induction programs for new employees, and other
knowledge transfer practices.
# Take needful actions for operations as per the approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and related
policies in regard to Emergency and Crisis Activation. This includes but is not limited to providing manpower
support, activation of Silver and Gold Rooms, and coordinating communications to support the emergency and
crisis team in RTA.
# Lead the Daily Main Control Room (MCR) Operations as per process and ensure daily reporting and
coordination for MCR Operations team with Stakeholders, including execution of MCR operations process and
verifying operational daily documentations.
# Monitor OCC's performance in planned and unplanned events, record KPIs as per agreed SLA's and raise
periodic reports on final outcomes.
# Participate in and coordinate periodic operational tests, drills, Simulations, and workshops, and develop reports
on outcomes to include lessons learnt and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Education
# Bachelors degree in Business Administration /MIS from a recognized University with minimum 2 years
working experience in a related field
