Job Purpose

Lead coordination of drivers licensing institutes, centers and medical providers so contracts,

legislation, fees and agreements align with Authority policies and standards. Manage

communications, complaints and corrective actions to maintain compliant licensing services and

support expansion of training activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Coordinate preparation of future studies for expansion and development of drivers licensing

activities and services to support planning and growth of institutes and related service

offerings.

  • Draft legislation and laws regulating drivers licensing activities, institutes, training centers

and medical examination providers to govern relationships and ensure alignment with

approved regulations.

  • Draft unified training contract and study institute service fees to keep commercial terms

consistent with Authority policies and approved standards.

  • Coordinate approvals of marketing and awareness campaigns for institutes with concerned

authorities, ensuring messages, fees and information reflect Authority policies, standards and

correct service details.

  • Prepare recommendations on opening, adding services, temporarily suspending or cancelling

licenses for institutes and branches

  • Draft agreements with institutes, training centers and medical examination service providers

for licenses and permits, ensuring shared roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.

Operations

  • Review secret shopper reports and customer and trainee satisfaction surveys, and support

manager on decisions related to trainee complaints and issue recommendations to address

weaknesses in institute performance.

  • Follow up implementation of agreements with institutes, training centers and medical

examination service providers for driver licenses and permits to ensure services comply with

agreed terms.

  • Develop relationships with professional drivers by preparing recommendations to develop

services and by evaluating the quality of professional drivers performance.

  • Receive and study requests from the DTS system, coordinating with institutes to provide

accurate and timely responses to the administration.

  • Inform institutes of circulars, correspondence and topics issued by the Department Manager

and ensure instructions are communicated clearly and consistently.

  • Follow up implementation of departmental decisions and topics with internal and external

entities to secure timely closure of agreed actions.

  • Coordinate with institutes, concerned authorities and internal departments on accreditation

of institutes, branches, registration and examination offices and training requirements in line

with approved policies and procedures.

  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities assigned by line management within the

scope of the Chief Supervisor role.

Product / Process Improvement

  • Monitor corrective actions arising from complaints, surveys and secret shopper findings to

confirm identified issues are resolved and institute performance improves.

  • Review and refine contracts, agreements and tariffs with institutes and medical providers to

enhance clarity, service quality and customer satisfaction while complying with Authority

policies and standards.

  • Use insights from DTS requests, institute feedback and professional driver performance

evaluations to recommend enhancements in licensing services and training programs.

Physical Working Conditions

  • Work mainly in an office environment with regular meetings and reviews, with occasional

visits to driving institutes, training centers and medical examination providers as required by

projects and audits.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Transport Management, or Traffic Engineering, Preferred: Master of Business Administration or Public Administration
  • 8 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Preferred: Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 (project management), ITIL Foundation (service management)
