Role Overview
The Chief Technology Officer will lead the group's global technology function, overseeing engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and security across all trading and financial platforms.
This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of high-volume trading systems while driving continuous improvement and modernization of the technology landscape. The CTO will work closely with executive leadership, product, trading, and compliance teams to align technology delivery with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Role Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall technology strategy aligned with the group's global growth and product roadmap
- Lead and scale engineering teams across development, infrastructure, DevOps, and platform architecture
- Oversee the design, performance, and reliability of trading platforms, including pricing, execution, risk, and back-office systems
- Ensure high availability, low latency, and resilience of systems supporting real-time trading operations
- Drive modernization initiatives across cloud infrastructure, automation, and system architecture
- Establish and enforce engineering standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across global teams
- Work closely with product, trading, compliance, and operations teams to support platform enhancements and new product launches
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, cybersecurity, and data protection requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, and third-party service providers
- Lead incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning across all systems
- Provide strategic input to executive leadership on technology investments, risks, and opportunities
Role Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles within financial services, fintech, or trading environments
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering large-scale, high-performance technology platforms
- Strong background in trading systems, brokerage platforms (MT4/MT5), or financial market infrastructure
- Experience with low-latency systems, real-time data processing, and high-availability architectures
- Solid understanding of risk systems, liquidity integration, and trading platform ecosystems
- Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and modern software development methodologies
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and security requirements in financial services environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead global teams across multiple regions and functions
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working closely with executive leadership
